Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Jilla was released worldwide in more than 1000 screens on January 10th. In Kerala alone the movie was released in more than 200 screens.
Jilla has made Kerala box office collection of whopping Rs 2.62 Crores on its opening day, making it as the highest single day gross for any film in the state. In Kerala Jilla is distributed by Mohanlal’s own Ashirvad movies. Directed by Neasan the movie featured Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles.
The world wide box office collections of Jilla is expected to be around Rs 20 crores from its opening day.On 2nd day Jilla world wide collection is said to be around 14 crores. One thing is sure that, Jilla has taken Box office collections by storm.
